I am a Character Designer, illustrator, and visual development artist who graduated from the character animation program at the California Institute of the Arts in 2008. I was the Character Designer for ParaNorman, and I won the 2012 Annie Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement for Character Design in a Feature Production for my designs. In 2017, I illustrated my very first picture book, Lovely Beasts: The Surprising Truth, which won the Bull-Bransom Award in 2019 for excellence in the field of children's book illustration with a focus on nature and wildlife. I have also worked as a character designer for Henry Selick at Cinderbiter, The Jim Henson Company, DreamWorks Animation, Warner Brothers Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, and Netflix.
